SUMMARY:Durham Fringe Festival: Joseph MacPhail
DESCRIPTION:\nJoe MacPhail will be performing a uniquely Durham take on Arab-American Fusion music. Joe was born in Durham, and has spent the last decade making eclectic keyboard-based music that incorporates global Folk and Blues melodies, Jazz and Classical harmony, and Funk and Hip Hop rhythms. This Fringe Festival performance will feature Songs and Compositions that are influenced by Arabic music, referencing Joe’s Levantine ancestry and other musical genres of the wider MENA world.
