Paul Gala is an artist living in Chapel Hill, NC. His works have been exhibited in one-person, two-person and group shows, auctions, and online shows and he has won awards for his work. Paul has long been inspired by the art of the Old Masters and his artistic journey was fueled by studying French Art and History in Paris, France in the early 1990s.

Paul works primarily with oil paint on aluminum panels, creating mostly landscapes, seascapes and florals. Using various techniques, including abandoning the brush and using his hands and other tools, he directly connects with his paintings. Paul says, “There’s a kind of magic that happens when you’re completely in the moment of painting! My work provides an initial jumping-off point and I invite you in for your own personal reflection and enjoyment.”

Paul is member of the City Market Artist Collective (C-MAC) in Raleigh, NC. He is represented by North Carolina galleries at Manteo, Beaufort, Bald Head Island, and Wilkesboro and his work is held in private and corporate collections.
